WEKA.A HAS OPENED A NEW DISPLAY:

Weka.A has opened a new display of their Macrocarpa Furniture on the Main Road of Culverden, so people can see, touch and smell the wooden furniture.

The display is on the right hand side of the road (if coming from Christchurch) between Mocketts Motors and Three Bored Housewives Craft Shop.

TWO NEW GARDEN SEATS FOR PRESTON DOWNS

Weka.A have just finished making two outdoor seats for a new subdivison just outside Christchurch called Preston Downs.

This photo shows the seats on the Weka.A trailor ready to be delivered to Preston Downs.

I was most amused as one of my friends made the comment that the seats appeared to be very high!! and that she didn’t think she would be able to sit on them!!

What she didn’t realise was that the macrocarpa seats have long legs so that they can be cemented into the ground – no doubt to stop people removing them!!

I also explained that you don’t stain the legs that are going to be buried under the ground.Just in case she was wondering!!!!

WEKA.A INDOOR FURNITURE EXCLUSIVE TO TWO SISTERS IN CULVERDEN:

Weka.A has been busy producing indoor furniture which is for sale at Two Sisters in Culverden.

All items are made of macrocarpa and the large chair is upholstered in the coffee bean sack material. Just something a little bit different.

The other is a small table which has lots of uses – small enough to fit in anywhere but large enough to be useful!

It is called a “Parrot Table” but I am assured that you don’t need to have a parrot to get one!!

A NEW DESIGN FOR WEKA.A MACROCARPA FURNITURE:

Murray has just designed a new table and seats for Weka.A. called the “The Wrap”.

This picture show one of the “wrap” seats after being constructed on the trailer – saves a lot of heavy lifting.

The weather here hasn’t been the best so it is good to have the garage set up so that you can work inside when the weather is cold! We arrived back from Timaru yesterday and at 2 30pm it was 3 degrees.
